ABOUT THE PROJECT
As you probably know, most hospitals are no longer allowing visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For many kids, having visitors to talk to, or have any variety of interactions with might be the highlight of their day. We wanted to find a way to continue this kind of interaction virtually. We hope to create a library of videos that will be uploaded to a server for pediatric patients with long-term illnesses to watch at any point in the day. Since the Pediatric Video Project is connected with several hospitals, every video has the potential to reach innumerable patients.

HOSPITALS AFFILIATED WITH SEACREST STUDIOS
We are excited to share content with Seacrest Studios – broadcast media centers, built and maintained by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, that display a wide variety of experiences to pediatric hospital patients nationwide. Through Seacrest Studios, patients can explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media. These spaces were built to contribute positively to the healing process for children and their families, bringing an uplifting spirit to the hospital community.
